Time is running out to claim a special piece of memorabilia from the recent All-Stars game at Ice Sheffield. Game-worn shirts have been auctioned off via the Elite League website and with two days left for bidding, five shirts remain.
The Overseas All-Stars beat the British All-Stars 13-7 last month, in not only a three period game, but also three separate skills contests in the two intermissions (hardest shot, penalty shoot-out and fastest skater).
Supporters can still bid for the shirt of import forward Greg Chambers (Coventry Blaze), who is enjoying a great season at the Skydome, with the current Elite League leaders.
There are four shirts available still from the British All-Stars, including Edinburgh’s Mark Garside, who was on the scoresheet for Dave Matsos’ men. The shirts of James Hutchinson (Hull Stingrays), Lee Mitchell (Hull Stingrays) and Tom Watkins (Coventry Blaze) are also still on offer. Elite League supporters can join in the biding via the website www.eliteleague.co.uk
