The second leg of the Challenge Cup Semi-Final for the LBM Belfast Giants is set for January 20th, 2009 at the Dundonald Ice Bowl. “We won the Challenge Cup a year ago and we have a tough road through the Devils to get there but we know this team has the ability to win it again,” said Steve Thornton.
“The Ice Bowl can be an intimidating building to come into for opposing teams and we expect to have it packed out for the semi-final against the Devils.”
Last season, the Giants hoisted the first Challenge Cup in Franchise History and followed that up with victory in the Knock Out Cup.
“This is one of three major pieces of Silverware this season, and we want to win them all. We have a job to do in Cardiff on December 16th in the first leg, but we believe that we have what it takes to advance to the final.”

Concessions – £9
Kids – £7
Tickets will be on sale this Friday Night at the Giants home game at the Odyssey Arena and from the Giants Office starting on Monday, December 14th, 2009. Please bring appropriate ID or have your Season Ticket Card to show to Giants Staff to avail of the correct ticket price.
As with all games at the Dundonald Ice Bowl, Doors will open for Season Ticket Holders at least one hour before the game with doors open to the rest of the general public 45 minutes before the game.
Dundonald is GENERAL ADMISSION and there are no reserved seats, however people requiring balcony seating will be given priority seating and those in wheelchairs will have access to the viewing balcony as usual.
