Ice-hockey supporters across the UK have chosen their line-ups for the annual All-Stars match taking place at Ice Sheffield on Wednesday 27th January. The LBM Belfast Giants will have four players in the intial line up. Representing the Elite British All-Stars will be Stephen Murphy and Colin Shields and taking to the ice for the Overseas All-Stars will be Jeff Szwez and Sean McMorrow.
The All-Stars game showcases the tremendous talent on offer in the Elite League and the best players in the country will come together for a truly memorable exhibition of ice-hockey.
Also representing the Elite British All-Stars, coached by Sheffield’s Dave Matsos, will be, Coventry’s Jonathan Weaver, Stevie Lee and David Clarke from the Nottingham Panthers and Hull’s Lee Esders.
The Overseas All-Stars, will be coached by Nottingham Panthers’ Corey Neilson and icing for them will be Peter Hirsch of the Coventry Blaze, defencemen Dominic D’Amour and Adam Knight of the Nottingham Panthers and Hull Stingrays respectively with Jade Galbraith of the Nottingham Panthers completing the line-up.
