Now into his fourth season with the Giants, Leigh has demonstrated his continued growth as his ability on the ice improves ever year. Capable of playing in defence or as a gritty forward, he's an asset to any club he plays for. Leigh is a quick and skilful skater able to take on any defence by himself, every week the Giants fans are glued watching him weave his way to the net leaving opposing players in his wake. Leigh is one of those few players that has it all, and with being so young, has time on his hands to develop into one of the top British players.
Leigh started his Ice Hockey career with his hometown team the Milton Keynes Lightning, helping them to the BNL junior title in his first year with the club. After an impressive performance at a pre-season training session, Leigh earned his first professional contract and took the Elite League by storm. Leigh became the first ever Elite league player of the month that season and also finished the year off with the best British Defenseman and Young British Talent Awards. The youngest member of the Giants roster at the time, Jamieson has already proved he plays like a veteran. Leigh is a real prospect for the future and as a player has represented Great Britain at every level.
