Now into his third season as a Giant, Marc has become a hero for his pace and attitude on the ice. The sort of player every coach wants to have on his team and every player hates to play against, Marc manages to get under the skin of the opposition drawing penalties from the player not able to keep up or out of sheer frustration. He generally partners Leigh Jamieson and Mark Morrison on the Giants highly respected third line. Not shy of scoring the odd goal Marc has the talent to step into any of the Giants lines and fit right in. The 25-year-old Great Britain forward, is one of the rising home grown stars of the game. Marc was in high demand from other teams over the summer and coach Ed Courtenay was delighted that he chose to return to Belfast for another season. Marc played his entire minor hockey in his hometown of Nottingham, before turning Professional five years ago when he signed for the Nottingham Panthers. His missed most of his last season with the Panthers due to a serious shoulder injury, but still managed 5 goals and a handful of assists. Marc then left the Panthers to sign for the Belfast Giants in 2004 under then coach Tony Hand.
