The 29th Belfast Scout Group was visited by Jeffery Szwez of the LBM Belfast Giants, as part of the Stenaline Companies That Care initiative on Thursday night, the group of 30 boys and girls had a great time during the evening session as Jeffery explained to them how he came to be in Belfast playing for the Giants. The Scout Group had plenty of questions for Jeffery, which he was delighted to answer.
The fun really began, when the young people broke off into teams and played uni-hockey in the large hall. The night ended with Rebekah (seen in photograph) giving out programmes on behalf of Jeffery which he autographed for each young person. Stenaline have sponsored the Scout Group to come along to a Belfast Giants game at the Odyssey Arena in March, they have promised Jeffery that he will be able to hear their cheering from the stands!
