Newlodge Youth Club was recently visited by Sean “The Sheriff” McMorrow of the LBM Belfast Giants and Michael McGrath, Irish Sea Area Director of leading ferry company Stena Line, as part of the Giants Companies That Care Initiative.
The ice hockey star met with young people from the Newlodge area and spoke with them about how he got involved in ice hockey, what it’s like being a Belfast Giant. The group of young people even gave Sean and Michael a demonstration of their cheer leading skills after the session. The group will be welcomed to a game before the end of the season on 27th March.
