The Odyssey Trust and Weev Announce New EV Partnership

This new partnership represents another step forward in The Odyssey Trust’s sustainability journey, focused on making practical, long-term improvements through collaboration with local organisations.

As part of the partnership, Weev has installed two 22kW AC chargers, providing four charging points in total. Each socket delivers a maximum charging speed of 11kW and can be accessed via the My Weev app, My Weev fob, or contactless payment.

Craig Barrington, Associate Director of Estates and Facilities at The Odyssey Trust, said: “This partnership with Weev is about making steady, practical progress. As an organisation with a long-term commitment to sustainability, we’re focused on working with local partners to support greener choices across the Odyssey site, and the introduction of EV charging is another small but important step on that journey.”

The partnership also supports The Odyssey Trust’s wider commitment to sustainable transport, which includes the Belfast Giants’ relationship with Agnew Belfast Volvo. Through this, Giants’ players and coaches have access to fully electric Volvo EX30 and EX40 vehicles, demonstrating how sustainability is being embedded across the organisation’s operations.
