PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland Charity Game Night
On Saturday 17 October, the Belfast Giants will take the ice at The O2 Belfast for a game night with a difference.
PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland (PIPS) - one of The Odyssey Trust’s chosen charity partners for 2026/27 - provides counselling and befriending support to individuals who are experiencing or have experienced suicidal thoughts or mental unwellness. PIPS Charity also provides support to families and friends who have been touched by suicide.
This isn’t just any game night - it’s a special one in support of PIPS; to raise vital funds so they can continue to provide free, confidential counselling and crisis support.
Information Desk on The Bridge
If you or anyone you know is struggling with their mental health, please visit the PIPs team on The Bridge when doors open to speak to their specialist volunteers and find out more about their vital services. If you would like to, and are able, donations can be made to PIPs via collection buckets at The O2 Belfast at the game, just keep an eye out for volunteers collecting donations around the concourse.
