Proceedings got a little wild following a Darcy Murphy slashing call at 34:24. A Johnny Curran cross check on Sam Ruopp sent him to the box and Ruopp down the tunnel at 34:41, and Ben Lake took exception to this, sitting for roughing at 34:54.
Coventry took their opportunity to pull one back on the power play courtesy of Nathanael Halbert at 35:11 (Assist: Evan Bloodoff, Luke Ferrara). (6-3)

And a rollercoaster game was tied at 6 by a Janne Kivilahti wrist shot at 46:52 (Assist: Ross Venus). (6-6)
Lewis Hook’s mid slot snipe at 57:10 proved to be the difference maker (Assist: Ben Lake), despite a late Mark Garside holding penalty at 59:20 and a subsequent Blaze time out and 6 on 4 power play.
