Get Ready for a Giant Double-Header Weekend
This weekend, your Belfast Giants welcome the Nottingham Panthers to The SSE Arena, Belfast for a crucial double-header. Aside from all the on-ice action, here’s what else to look forward to on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 March.
Easter Egg Collection
Belfast’s very own Easter Bunny, Jasmine Parker, will return to the land of the Giants and look to collect as many Easter eggs as possible. On both nights, from the time doors open until face-off, there will be a drop-off station for donations opposite Door 19 on the first-floor of the arena. As always, any and all donations are greatly appreciated and will play a big part in spreading some joy to children and young people spending time in hospitals across Northern Ireland.
Little Heroes 'Egg-sential' Easter Appeal
We will proudly support Little Heroes’ 'Egg-sential’ campaign, helping children and families who unexpectedly find themselves in hospital. One of The Odyssey Trust’s 2026 charity partners, Little Heroes, is asking businesses, schools, and individuals to donate new, essential items that can support children and families during the most challenging times.
For some families, the journey to hospital happens suddenly, leaving them with little time to prepare and few personal belongings. For others, what begins as a short visit can quickly turn into a stay that lasts days, weeks, or even longer. Either way, being in hospital for an extended period can be incredibly difficult for both children and their families.
Below is what Little Heroes is on the lookout for, and items can be dropped off at a designated donation point opposite Door 19 on the first-floor of the arena. All items collected will be shared across hospitals throughout Northern Ireland.
