Celebrate National Fitness Day and the European Week of Sport with the Belfast Giants and Better
Your Belfast Giants return to the ice at The SSE Arena, Belfast on Saturday 20 September, and fans can look forward to even more excitement than usual. In partnership with Better, the evening will feature a special, inclusive fitness-themed takeover, with unique challenges, giveaways, and the chance to win prizes.
The added activity comes as part of celebrations for National Fitness Day, which takes place every September and shines a spotlight on the benefits of physical activity. It’s a nationwide movement designed to inspire people of all ages to get moving, highlighting how exercise can positively impact not just physical health, but also mental wellbeing and social connection.
This fun, fitness-themed game will mark the beginning of the European Week of Sport – a continent-wide imitative that aims to encourage more people to enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. The SSE Arena is proud to play its part, working closely with fellow venues from across the European Arenas Association to bring the annual campaign to life and encourage the Teal Army to get involved.
So, as well as enjoying all the action on the ice, fans will be able to join in the fun with Better, testing their skills and getting involved in activities throughout the night.
