Join the Belfast Giants Commentary Team

Delivered in partnership with industry-leading experts Alan March Sport (AMS), this initiative will make live Giants games more accessible and inclusive than ever before, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to be part of it.

AMS currently run access commentary teams for 17 professional football clubs across the UK, including Arsenal, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Wolves and Fulham. Their experienced team has worked at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, multiple FIFA World Cups, UEFA tournaments, and more. Now, they’re bringing their world-class training and delivery to the home of the Belfast Giants.

This is your chance to get trained by the best in the business and play a key role in enhancing the game night experience at The SSE Arena. Successful applicants will receive full commentary training and ongoing support from AMS – no commentary experience is required, just a love for the game and a desire to learn.

AMS is looking for applicants who fit the following requirements:

• Able to commit to a high percentage of Belfast Giants games, including pre-season and Challenge Cup games (between 75-85% of games).

• Able to occasionally carry a small amount of equipment (less than 10kg).

• Able to commute to The SSE Arena within 60-minutes of your permanent residence.

• Available for an all-day training session (9:15am-5:30pm) at The SSE Arena on Saturday 23 August, as well as a 30-minute follow-up assessment on Sunday 24 August (timing tbc).

The closing date for applications is 11:59pm on Monday 18 August. AMS reserve the right to close applications earlier should they be oversubscribed, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
