Belfast Giants and Titanic Distillers Anchor New Partnership
The Stena Line Belfast Giants are proud to announce an exciting local partnership with Titanic Distillers – Belfast’s first working distillery in almost 90 years.
Located in the heart of the Maritime Mile, where the iconic Titanic once stood, is Thompson Dock and Pumphouse – now the home of Titanic Distillers. Once dwarfed by the great ship, the pumphouse stood in the shadows, but now people from across Northern Ireland and beyond can come and walk in the footsteps of the shipyard workers and experience the new spirit of Belfast’s famous docklands.
Steve Thornton, head of commercial at the Belfast Giants, said: “It is important that we forge innovative new relationships with local businesses, supporting organisations who are equally as proud of their Belfast roots. There is always something incredibly special about partnering with businesses who are only a stone's throw away from The SSE Arena, Belfast, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Titanic Distillers to the Giants family.”
The partnership will see Titanic Distillers’ branding featured throughout The SSE Arena, Belfast, and a range of products served across several food and beverage kiosks and hospitality areas – including suites, the SSE Rewards Lounge, and the Heineken Green Room.
Stephen Symington, director of Titanic Distillers, said: “We’re delighted to announce our partnership with the Stena Line Belfast Giants and The SSE Arena, Belfast. As a brand, we’re passionate about the city of Belfast and the historic Titanic Quarter, so we’re delighted to partner with a team and venue that has become such an integral part of our city’s culture.”
