On Friday, the Elite Ice Hockey League, after a meeting of it’s board, announced that it would cancel the remainder of the 2019/20 season due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 virus.

We have been prioritising our players to make sure they get home as soon and as safely as possible. Some of the 2019/20 team have already begun their travel from Belfast following and the rest will be on their way this week.
Since Friday – we have received questions as well as messages of support from our loyal fans and we wanted to provide answers to as many of your questions as we possibly can.
Season Ticket Holders
Are you a 2019/20 Season Ticket Holder? We wanted to thank all of you who have been in contact over the last few days to show your support for the organisation right now – we really appreciate all of your messages as well as your continued backing.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer any sort of a refund for this season. We want to apologise for any inconvenience caused and to explain why.
On Friday, the Elite League canceled the remainder of the 2019/20 season. Our Terms & Conditions state that our Season Ticket covers “All League and Challenge Cup games played at The SSE Arena during the 2019/20 season” – because there are no more games this season, we are unable to offer any money back.
As we always say – our Season Ticket Holders are one of our most important parts of our organisation and so, all 2019/20 Season Ticket Holders will receive a £20 credit towards food and drinks next season at The SSE Arena.
The credit will be applied via The SSE Arena app and will be given to you regardless of whether you sign up for a 2020/21 Season Ticket or not. We will send you more information on this via email before the beginning of the 2020/21 season.

Did you purchase a ticket to our Annual Awards Night? Unfortunately, because the Elite League cancelled the rest of the 2019/10 season, we have had to cancel our yearly event on Monday 30th March at Crowne Plaza, Belfast.
Ticketmaster will issue an automatic refund into your account – please be patient as the refund process will take up to two weeks.
However – we will be holding voting online with our fans in due course so stay tuned to our social media pages for more info.
Official Supporters Club
Are you attending an upcoming Official Supporters Club event? If you purchased a place on the ‘A View From The Bench’ for any of our remaining home games or bought a ticket for the upcoming ‘Bowling Night’ then we will issue you with a full refund. Please contact OSC@belfastgiants.com and refunds will be processed within seven working days.
Did you sponsor any players equipment? Don’t worry – we are keeping this safe for you! We will let you know when this is available for collection..though it will likely be a few more weeks at least before it is safe to do so.
Ticket Holders For Remaining Games
Have you purchased a ticket for any of our remaining home games? Then you will receive a full refund for the amount specified on your ticket.
Your refund will come from your ‘Point of Purchase’. i.e. If you purchased online – Ticketmaster will issue an automatic refund into your account. Please be patient as the refund process will take up to two weeks.
Playoff Finals Weekend
Are you a Giants fan with tickets to the annual ‘Final Four’ weekend? The Elite League has announced that the Playoff Finals weekend on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th April has been postponed.
Please keep hold of your tickets as the Elite League will be revealing more information on a rescheduled event in due course via their official website and social media channels.
