Not only did last weekend see the Giants progress to the Playoff Finals, but it was also the launch of the new Giants Ice Stada! The portable synthetic ice stada is for primary aged children and can be used on any flat surface indoors or outside. “Not only are we the first team in the league to have one, but this is the only synthetic ice stada in Northern Ireland” said Louise Little, the Giants Community Foundation Co-ordinator.
“The Giants Ice Stada was generously funded by Sport NI and our aim is to enable as many young people as possible right across Northern Ireland to experience ice hockey. So it looks like off season for us is going to be as busy as ever!”
