The 6’4”, 215lbs, 28 year old Canadian was drafted 59th overall by the Dallas Stars in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and signed a three year entry level contract with the Stars in 2009.

Beskorowany spent the following seasons with Dallas’ AHL side, the Texas Stars, before time in the ECHL with Idaho, San Francisco and Orlando. Tyler was recalled to the AHL with St. John’s IceCaps and then joined Düsseldorfer in Germany’s DEL for 2014/15.

While in Germany, Beskorowany led Düsseldorfer to an impressive fifth place finish in the regular season and posted 2.53 GAA and .920 save percentage – winning the Goalie of the Year award.

Beskorowany backstopped Düsseldorfer to victory against the Hamburg Freezers in the first round of the DEL Playoffs. Beskorowany and Düsseldorfer eventually lost out to Ingolstadt over five games in the Semi-Final.
