Reddox joined the Giants following eight seasons with Växjö Lakers of the Swedish Elite League – winning the national championship in 2014/15 as well as 2017/18 when he captained the side.
The native of Whitby, Ontario in Canada spent three full seasons with the OHL’s Peterborough Petes before being selected by the Edmonton Oilers in round 4, 112th overall, of the 2004 NHL entry draft.
Reddox spent his first professional season in the ECHL with Oilers affiliate the Stockton Thunder before moving up to the AHL with the Springfield Falcons – where he earned his first call up and made his NHL debut on 7th December 2008.
The 33 year old iced for the Edmonton Oilers in each of the following three seasons, posting six goals and 18 assists, good for 24 points in 100 NHL games.
In 2011, Reddox signed an initial one year contract with the Växjö Lakers and then stayed in Sweden until the end of last season, collecting two championships along the way. Reddox’s totals in the Swedish Elite League are 72 goals and 78 assists, good for 150 points in 386 games.
Reddox can boast five seasons of Champions Hockey League experience, helping his Växjö Lakers side to the Semi-Finals in 2016/17 and the final in 2017/18.
