On Thursday evening, the LBM Belfast Giants will take on the Hull Stingrays in the Dundonald International Ice Bowl. Captain Colin Shields has called this match a must win following two impressive wins against the Panthers at the weekend.
“Hull is a big test for us and a must win. Those two hugs wins last weekend will mean nothing if we don’t take full points on Thursday night. We need to keep up the pressure on the Coventry Blaze and the only way we can do that is by putting points on the board.”
Shields also wanted to comment on the atmosphere last weekend, “It was awesome to see so many fans packed into the arena, the noise was unbelieveable when we scored! On the ice we want to keep our form going into Thursday’s match in Dundonald and off the ice we need the fans to keep their form going and get the ice bowl rocking on Thursday night.”
Face-off is at 7.30pm and doors will be open for the public from 6.30pm. Tickets are still available for this Elite league match up on Thursday night and can be purchased over the phone on (028) 9046 0044 and picked up on the night. Tickets will also still be available for purchase at Dundonald on Thursday evening starting at 6pm.
