Jon Pelle was the only boy in town (well in school at least!) as he joined 37 pupils at St. Bernadettes Primary School in West Belfast. After a guessing game about Jon’s age, which ranged from 17 to 50 years old, the P3 & P4 pupils enjoyed the healthy eating ‘Lollipops, for Breakfast?’ story, followed by class discussions about healthy choices, and then into the puppet making session.
Jon helped out with cutting, colouring and even helped glue on some hair for a few of the puppets! As the quiz master at the end, Jon tested the classes listening skills but asking them questions about the story. ’We had a great time today, the girls were all very chatty and seemed to really enjoy the session, I had as much fun as they did!’
