Craig Peacock has become the sixth LBM Belfast Giant to be called up to the All-Star game next Wednesday in Sheffield. Peacock will pull on the jersey for the British All-Stars along with teammates, Colin Shields and Stephen Murphy as they face off against the Overseas All-Stars, containing Tim Cook, Jeff Szwez and Sean McMorrow.
British All-Stars coach and former LBM Giant, Dave Matsos commented, “ These are exciting times with the All-Star game just under a week away now. Craig Peacock is having a great first season with Belfast and has already scored a number of crucial goals in big games for the Giants.”
Delighted with the call up, Peacock had this to say, “It was a complete surprise to get the call to be asked to compete in the All-Star game. I’m honoured to be selected for the British All-Stars and even though i’ll be up against Tim, Jeff and Sean, I certainly won’t be going easy on them!”
The 2010 All-Stars game takes place at Ice Sheffield on Wednesday 27th January and tickets are available at £15 (adult), £10 (concession), £7 (Under 16) and a family ticket is priced at £38. The ticket office is open from 9am until 5pm, or you can book tickets by calling 0114 242 3535 (credit cards accepted).
