The Devils shutout their opposition for the second game in succession with league title chasing Giants the victims with former Giant, Stevie Lyle posting 35 saves following the Devils taking an early 3-0 1st period lead. A powerplay effort by Ryan Finnerty at 5.49 set them on their way and further counters came from Brad Voth  at 10.48 and Phil Hill at 13.53.

Giants were more in the game in the blank second session but the home side still looked very comfortable in possession of the three-goal advantage.

Giants could make no inroads into the solid home defence at all and that continued throughout the third period with Lyle playing a very solid game for his third shutout of the season, while Mark Smith added a fourth Devils goal at 58.13 to round off an impressive sixty minutes of hockey from the Welsh side.
