A GIANT Congratulations to defenceman, Rob Sandrock who has been named as The Elite League Player Of The Week!
Selected weekly by R&J Stats, Rob is described as, “an important cog in the Belfast Giants defence…who has helped his team to three wins from three games this week.”
And we couldn’t agree more, Rob has very much picked up from where he left off in his last spell as a Belfast Giants almost ten years ago, currently averaging a point per game with eight points over all! Sandrock is also the leading scorer when it comes to special teams with all four of his goals, this season, coming on the powerplay.
Overall, Rob has played 77 games for the Belfast Giants, amassing 61 points thanks to 17 goals and 44 assists.
