We have had a very interesting couple of weeks since I last wrote this blog. The league invested in a marketing seminar with a gentleman that flew over from North America to discuss everything from improving the benefits for season ticket holders to offering more entertainment on a game night. After two days with him every single person was filled with great ideas and from that two-day seminar, I know we will see an improved product for fans throughout the elite league.

Here in Belfast, I see loads of ways that we can improve our product on and off the ice and the one area that we wanted to concentrate on right away is the benefits for our season ticket holders. For years, we have relied on our season ticket holders to survive but besides the obvious discount on your season ticket, we have not been able to offer too many additional benefits, but that is all about to change.

We are currently working on a vastly improved benefits package for season ticket holders which will make being a member of the Giants Season Ticket Club more than just the best price option for our fans. Besides your season ticket being the cheapest ticket option for the 2008-09 season, we are going to be giving this year’s season ticket holders the following benefits:

Exclusive membership cards that offer discounts throughout Northern Ireland at restaurants and shops and also work as your season ticket at the Arena on Game Night

Discounts on Giants merchandise sold at the Arena or the Giants Office

Exclusive merchandise including a specially commissioned third jersey that is only available to purchase by season ticket holders

A dedicated Season Ticket hotline for season ticket holders only to get in touch with the Giants Office

Game Night Prize Draws for Season Ticket Holders only

Lucky Seat Number Draws for Season Ticket Holders only

And all of this is just a start. Our season ticket holders are our most valuable asset, most of you have spent your hard earned cash year after year to support our team without any further expectations and I think its time to give you all as much for your money as we can. You will also be getting access to special events for season ticket holders only, exclusive press announcements and much, much more.

I hope you all realize that I am listening to you and trying to give you more of what you want and what you have asked for.
